Posted on C B I’m so happy I found My Happy Yoga Place studio. Alaina walks you through each pose consistently offering modifications to choose from. It is a truly welcoming, non-judgmental space you can feel comfortable in. The space is bright and clean and yoga mats and blocks are provided for you if you need them. After each practice I feel refreshed and restored.Posted on Jule Thorne My Happy Yoga Place is yoga studio for everyone off all different fitness levels. Whether you are new to yoga or an experienced yogi, the classes at MHYP will benefit you. In all of the classes, Alaina shows the poses in various levels. She begins with the easiest version of the pose then continues to show ways to make the pose more challenging. She is always reminding us to do what is right for our body. If you need help during a pose Alaina will assist you so you get the benefit from the pose without hurting yourself. It's a judgment free zone. You do what you can. MYHP is a welcoming supportive place to get your body moving and feel good about it.Posted on Jackie Cassidy I love this yoga studio. Alaina is so sweet and makes all feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. All levels welcomed and made to feel at ease and capable.Posted on Laura Wade Love this place! Always learning something new! Such a friendly warming atmosphere! Highly recommendPosted on Dianne White Love everything about this yoga studio! Small classes, instructor is very helpful. If your looking for a wonderful place for yoga this is it!Posted on Kayla Stewart My Happy Yoga Place is exactly what it says! You have the opportunity to choose any style class you want: slow, fast, relaxing, challenging. And, you also get to make your practice your own! I have a lot of body ailments that tend to keep me from doing certain things on some days but it never feels discouraged. Alaina provides different levels of movements so you are able to modify when needed! Then, some days I tend to move faster through movements if I’m feeling good. It’s all encouraged to make your practice happy, supported and fun. Note: I gravitate towards the Revitalize class because it is faster paced and more challenging than the Beginners. BUT remember, you are always able to tailor towards YOU! Don’t be afraid to try revitalize after beginners. I always feel welcomed. I never leave the studio without feeling better after completing a class. Alaina always makes sure to provide the best class. She helps everyone (whether hands on or hand off), explains each movement very well, and keeps the environment positive. Alaina also communicates updates and announcements at the beginning of each class and on Facebook to keep all the yogi’s informed! I’ve been doing yoga about twice a week since ~October of 2023. It was a great decision and I’m glad I took a chance on it. Yoga gets me out of the house (I work from home) and gets me moving! I highly recommend you give it a try!Posted on Karla Ecklund Ecklund I absolutely love My Happy Yoga Place!! Alaina is wonderful, so welcoming, kind and makes you feel that she is happy to see you. She is an amazing instructor, has made my yoga experience so enjoyable. Everyone that comes to her classes are so nice and helpful. I started out as a beginner but I feel I am getting stronger and more flexible. I always can’t wait to come and then feel so great afterwards.Posted on Duana Holt I LOVE IT ♥ Started this journey with a dear friend I recently reconnected with ... We needed something to help us de-stress, relax, gain strength and balance. Alaina is AWESOME - caring and tranquil atmosphere. I feel so good when I leave there ... if your looking for time to yourself - relaxing your mind, body & spirit; while gaining strength and balance MY HAPPY YOGA PLACE is the place for you. I AM SO HAPPY I JOINED ♥Posted on Sharon M. There is a class for everyone at My Happy Yoga Place no matter your level. The instructor, Alaina, is really wonderful. Everyone is welcome and there is no judgement. The location in Charlotte Hall is very nice and clean and very convenient. The beginner class has a very nice flow to it. Poses are explained and shown how to do safely. All levels can enjoy the beginner class. Revitalize flow steps up the level and utilizes strengthening poses, but I still think a newcomer could handle the class. Zen Flow is a very nice stretch and relaxation class much the same poses and exercises that I have done in physical therapy for my back and hips. I highly recommend Alaina and My Happy Yoga Place.Google rating score: 5.0 of 5, based on 15 reviews, showing our latest reviews
