Welcome to our 45-minute Beginners Yoga Class, designed to introduce you to the fundamental principles of yoga in a supportive and accessible environment. The class begins with a brief centering exercise, allowing you to connect with your breath and bring awareness to the present moment. We then move into a gentle warm-up sequence, incorporating basic stretches and movements to prepare the body for the upcoming poses. Our experienced instructor takes the time to explain each movement in detail, emphasizing proper alignment and modifications to accommodate different body types and abilities. 

Beginners Yoga Class

As we progress, we explore foundational yoga poses such as Mountain Pose (Tadasana), Downward-Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana), Warrior I (Virabhadrasana I), and Child’s Pose (Balasana). Each pose is broken down step by step, ensuring that you understand how to enter, hold, and exit the posture safely. The instructor offers modifications and props to support your practice and encourages you to listen to your body, honoring its unique needs and limitations.

Throughout the class, there is an emphasis on mindful breathing, encouraging you to cultivate a steady and calm breath to accompany your movements. As the class nears its end, we transition into a gentle cool-down sequence, incorporating gentle stretches and a final relaxation pose, Savasana, to leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
