Beginners Series

Welcome to our 6-Week Beginner’s Yoga Series, designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of vinyasa or “flow” yoga in a warm, supportive, and judgment-free environment! This series is perfect for anyone looking to build a strong foundation in yoga, whether you’re brand new to the practice or simply want to deepen your understanding of the basics.

Our goal is to ensure that you feel comfortable and confident as you move through your yoga journey. Each class in this series is taught sequentially, but don’t worry if you can’t attend every week. Our program is flexible, and you are welcome to join or continue at any point, even if you miss a class! You’ll still gain plenty of benefits and can easily pick up where you left off.
You don’t need to have a flexible body or a quiet mind to begin—you just need to show up!

  • Fundamental Yoga Poses: We’ll break down poses like Mountain Pose, Downward-Facing Dog, and Warrior I step by step, ensuring you feel confident entering, holding, and exiting each posture.
  • Relaxation Methods: Learn techniques to calm your mind and release tension in your body, helping you leave each class feeling refreshed and restored.

Class structure:

Each class begins with a centering exercise to help you connect with your breath and quiet your mind. We’ll then move into a gentle warm-up, preparing the body for the foundational poses that follow. Every pose is explained in detail, with careful attention to proper alignment and safety. You’ll also be provided with modifications to ensure the practice is accessible to you, regardless of your experience or physical ability.
